TELEVISION PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

Maryna Langenhoven’s career in television began in 1984, and she gained extensive experience over 27 years in variety, sports and educational programmes, as well as programmes for the Deaf.

Being a production manager required discipline, long hours, handling budgets and huge amounts of petty cash, as well as crews of up to 92 people, which in turn led to great responsibility and answerability.

Her CV includes the following productions on both local and international levels:



  • 1995 Production Co-ordinator on Rugby World Cup (South Africa)

  • 1998 Floor manager on Athletics World Cup (South Africa)

  • 2002 Production Manager at SuperSport

  • 2003 Production Co-ordinator on Cricket World Cup

  • 2003-5 Production Manager on international cricket tours in Zimbabwe

  • 2007 Production manager for ESPN India on inaugural Twenty/20 World Cup – venue Durban.

  • 2008 Production manager for Sony on IPL Cricket in India for 2 months
    Production manager for Clockwork Zoo on Gary Player Invitational

  • 2009 Production manager for Sony on IPL cricket in SA for 6 weeks
    Production manager for ESPN America on Confederation Cup

  • 2010 Production manager for ESPN America on Soccer World Cup
